As the founder and driving force behind MK MKTG & PR, I've spent 13 years transforming brands and campaigns with an approach that proves “magic never fades” when strategy meets creativity.
My marketing journey began in the disciplined environment of the U.S. Navy, where serving as a Mass Communication Specialist laid the foundation for a career built on precision and purpose. This military training provided more than technical skills; it instilled a work ethic and strategic mindset that continues to distinguish my work today.
When naval service concluded, I seamlessly transitioned to civilian life, taking on a Sales and Marketing Specialist role for Lush Fresh Cosmetics. There, I significantly expanded the store’s Facebook presence and discovered a talent for digital engagement.
The entrepreneurial spark ignited shortly thereafter as I ventured into freelance work, focusing on package design, graphic design, and copywriting.
Recognizing the value of formal education alongside practical experience, I returned to academia, earning two communication degrees. This academic foundation propelled me into the STEM sector, where I applied marketing expertise to complex medical devices and SaaS products—proving that effective communication transcends industry boundaries.
I often describe myself as a one-person marketing agency because the magic never fades when you approach each project with strategic insight and creative passion. This philosophy has led to remarkable opportunities, including contributing articles to Forbes and teaching specialized workshops at UMASS Lowell’s M2D2 incubator, where I guided medical device entrepreneurs through the intricacies of marketing innovation.
My technical repertoire spans the full marketing spectrum—from compelling copywriting and visual storytelling through photography and short-form video to comprehensive campaign management encompassing email marketing, advertising, sponsorship coordination, and targeted digital ads.
